Most rooms at Park View House sleep four, five or six, so a family can share one room instead of booking two. The house overlooks Leith Links, and the tram into the city centre is about 6 minutes' walk.
One room for the whole family
There are eight rooms for four, eight for five, a room with five single beds and two rooms for six. Every room has free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee.
Leith Links, a big open park, is right outside, which helps when children have energy to burn after a day of sightseeing.
Getting around with children
The Foot of the Walk tram stop is about 6 minutes' walk. The tram runs up Leith Walk to St Andrew Square and Princes Street, and on to the airport with no change. Ocean Terminal and the Royal Yacht Britannia are a few stops the other way.
